Vinland was the name assigned to sections of North America explored by a tribe of Vikings from Greenland, led by Leif Eriksson and his sister, Freydís, in the year 1000 AD.

Early history[]
Before the year 1000 AD, Vinland was populated by a native population of what was referred to as "Skraelings".[1]
Discovery by vikings[]
Original timeline: In the year 1000, an expedition of Vikings from Greenland, led by Leif Eriksson, arrived on Vinland's shores. The group did some preliminary exploration before they left due to Eriksson's conversion to Christianity, believing the conflict with the natives wasn't worth it.[1]
Aberration timeline: In an aberration timeline caused by an anachronism, a Beebo along with a young Martin Stein found its way into the Leif and his Vikings' midst. The Vikings would be swayed by Freydís to worship Beebo and interpret its words in such a way as to conquer the whole of Vinland and establish New Valhalla, which would also lead to the spread of Beebo worship, with Beebo Day becoming the popular holiday instead of Christmas. Later, the young Martin was rescued by the Legends, even with Damien and Nora Darhk trying to prevent it.[1]
