So we are now at the second episode where Superman is still here and making things cool. Let us see what happens next when the two Kryptonians have more than just drones to deal with.

So we start with some awesome scenes with Superman and Supergirl. Reminding me why i love this version of the character so much. He even inspires criminals to be smarter people. That is how nice he is. +2

Hank is all grumpy of everyone being happy cause i guess the manhunter from Mars became the manhater from Mars faster than a speeding bullet. It is just rather sudden and i know he wants everyone to not have fun in really dire scenarios, but this one isn't one of those. -1

So we get Metallo waking up and i would like to note that Lillian is such a good villain cause unlike most villains who just tell their henchmen that they are in charge, she says that she is just a doctor. This makes sure that if anyone catches him, they can't trace him back to Cadmus. (+1) Though one thing that is a bit underwhelming is Metallo having Kryptonite. It is that way because they introduced the stuff way too much in Season 1. So not really blaming this season, just the show at large.

2/10

So Clark is once again getting pissed about Kryptonite again. This stuff is like rotten cheese to him, he hates when anyone has it around. Hank and Superman still can't get along because of this. It is like a love triangle. J'onn, Clark, and Kryptonite.

Kara is meeting her new boss this episode, which made it way too obvious Cat isn't staying around. Maybe they should have done that plot first and then have the boss thing. (-1) So Cat still is obssessed with Clark and i feel so bad for Kara who has to pretend to not be his cousin and she secretly is. It just leads her into the worst situations. +1

So Alex is mad that Clark is going to sister night even though she is going to cancel on an important holiday for Kara later this season, so not really best for you to get mad at this Alex. -1

As one last hurrah, Clark and Kara go to stop an attempt at suicide. Discovering that it was actually Metallo! This is exactly like Metallo's plan in Justice League: Doom. (+1) So they get into a cool battle with Metallo delivering some metaphorical and physical burns. +2

Supergirl is weakened in the fight and we gain a Crisis on Infinite Earths nod. +2

6/10

Superman is once again angry at J'onn for having Kryptonite for a better reason this time, but J'onn brings up a better point and that is that the Kryptonians would have destroyed National City last season if the D.E.O had none of the stuff. (-2 for mindless arguements) Speaking of last Season, Cadmus reveals themselves to the world as a terrorist orginization. Even though last season, they worked with the government. Did they break off from the government last season and we didn't know? It is a little confusing. -2

So now we see Winn fanboying out yet again. Always nice to show that. +1

Kara then goes back to work and is so frustrated about Snapper Carr that she tattle tales about him to Cat. This is just so out of character for Kara. It's like a little kid just grabbed the script and started writing about a sentence of this and then the adult writers were okay with it. -1

Cat then announces that she is leaving the show and inspires Kara before her leave. The last Cat Grant speech for a while. It will be missed cause it feels like a part of the show is gone without her. +2

J'onn and Superman go to the fortress of Solitude where it looks better than ever this time. Superman must have given it a makeover. (+1) J'onn then tries to be friends with Superman by explaining the emotional reason for why he keeps Green K. Superman of course says to him that he isn't good for doing this. Also tells him to choose between Kryptonite and Clark. This love triangle might finally end, but not soon. -1

4/10

Kara now is doing more out of nowhere character actions that make me think that Cat needs to stay longer. She needs her now more than ever cause Supergirl thinks she should move to Metropolis. It is stupid cause National City seems to be the place all the bad stuff happens at. -1

So Alex tries to find Cadmus and succeeds, but they cleverly have already found out what she is doing and try to kill her. Supergirl saves the day and apologizes for her crazy actions before. So they fixed the episode quickly. +2

So Winn finally made the suits for Superman and Supergirl and he is fanboying out some more. +1

You know how i said that Cadmus was smart about doing things before? Well now they are idiots again and fall for Supergirl's plot without any suspicion. (-1) Though we now get British Metallo and Asian Metallo. (+2) BTW Am i the only one who finds it weird that the actor who plays Gilcrist is named Rich?

Now the Kryptonians fight the Metallos in one of the most epic fights of the whole series! (+3) It has Alex in Krypto-Armor, Superman, Supergirl, and Martian Manhunter. Complete awesome action.

Love Cat and Supergirl's final moment. It is pretty good and still am sad she is leaving the show. +1

11/10

We then find out that James is the new Cat Grant. Sadly they never do anything with this plotline. (+1) Kara also finally gets through to Snapper which was a great moment of achievement for Kara. +1

So we finally get one emotional good bye for Superman which was both nostalgic with Perry White and cool looking. +1

Then the episode ends with Kara bein choked by Mon-El. Plus it is a metaphor for their relationship.

So that was episode two of season two. How was it? It gets a 14/10. However the Metallos think my rating was made by aliens so i have to make a bonus round.

Jeremiah being teased for future episodes. +1

Tons of references to the DC universe such as the metal known as Promethium. +1

Why does Metropolis give Superman a memorial in Krypton Park if he is alive? He was killed by Doomsday, but came back, you don't need to keep the memorial! -2 (This is a problem i have with other Superman stuff too)

Why didn't British Metallo fight Superman in that final battle? It just would be more nostalgic if they did that. -1

The final score is a thirteen out of ten. Next we meet President Wonder Woman!
