Tony Daniel is the former attorney of the late Barton Mathis. He is threatened and injured (but not killed) by The Hood during the latter's hunt for Daniel's client. The vigilante threatened to shoot his other shoulder should he go public with the information that Quentin Lance was working with The Arrow.
