What I'm saying is that it's illogical to say that Man of Steel "destroyed Superman's character" when that brutish jerk was the root of of his character in the first place. And Cavill's Superman is nothing like that Superman. He never bullied anybody. He was the victim of bullying as shown many times in the film. And he never went out of his way to humilate anybody. He was just normal guy trying to do the right thing.
That would just be trading the killing of one civilization for another. Remember "The foundation must be built on something"? Zod was clearly looking for inhabited planets, because they're most likely to be rich in natural resources. If I were Superman, I wouldn't give him that chance either, unless I were just willing for another alien civilization of my choosing to be killed (which I doubt Superman would be). It's not fair to just destroy life on another world just because you screwed the chance you had on your world and want another one.
Highly doubt that, but ok.

Well, using your own defense of Nolanverse Batman against you, "Anatoli was going to kill Martha. He had to do it." But, I agree his change is hard to buy because it was kind of quick and sudden, but I guess I can say the same about the Flash at the beginning of this season, so future installments might still be good.
Yeah, but that isn't the definitive version. You don't look at Luke Cage's first appearance where Marvel was a little racist about his character and think that is the one we need in the shows. They weren't thinking that garbage in Superman: The Movie, not in Superman Returns, and they shouldn't now.
Man of Steel didn't explicitly say that you needed life on the planet you are terraforming. Then again, they were always vague and cryptic in these movies about the rules. Zod was going to lay waste to all the vegation anyway though so i don't see the point in having a planet with all of those.
So him suddenly changing his entire personality at the mention of his mother's name is the same as someone temporarily losing their marbles to being in the Speed Force (A force that has screwed with Barry's head before) Sorry, but the shows are the superior version of DC comics. I would watch a hundred episodes of Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning before i ever see Batman v Superman again.
If you really hate my opinion on these movies so much. I'll list their few positives.
Man of Steel: Good Special Effects and cinematography. Micheal Shannon is also in my top three for General Zods.
BvS: Wonder Woman's live action movie debut happened in this film so i always have to credit it there. Not to mention the awesome score they gave her in the film. Also the Batman Martha rescue scene was pretty good. Even having some good comedy. (Despite all the killings that happened in it)
Wonder Woman: Everything is Awesome in this one.
Suicide Squad: Umm... their music was okay?
Justice League: I liked some of the humor in the film. Not to mention this film started the "Gotham Harbor" meme which is not as popular as Nanites, Courtesy of Ray Palmer, but still good. Wonder Woman and Alfred were also great characters in this. Some scenes had Superman down too.
