Horus is a deity revered by Ancient Egyptians as their protector.

Biography[]

In Ancient Egypt, Egyptians worshipped Horus as the protector of their civilization, and a clergy was appointed to appease him.

When Nth metal from Thanagar rained down from the skies and onto the Middle Kingdom, Hath-Set's staff became filled with power, which, at the time, he concluded was of mystical nature, and named it the Staff of Horus, after the god.[1]
