Grell is a judge of the Starling City Superior Court. He is considered to be corrupt, if not biased towards Adam Hunt.

Biography[]

Grell at some point became a judge of the superior court in Starling City.

In October 2012 when Laurel Lance of CNRI prepared to take Adam Hunt to court, Grell was arranged to be the presiding judge of the trial. This move was an advantage for Hunt since Grell's reelection campaign was funded by him. However, the case was presumably thrown out when The Hood returned Hunt's stolen money to its rightful owners.[1]

Grell sentenced Peter Declan to death by lethal injection over the alleged murder of his wife, Camille, deeming his actions "vicious, heartless and callous".[2]

In April 2013, Grell was to be the presiding judge of the deposition for the case between the Moore family and Edward Rasmus, but the suit was dropped following the plaintiffs' untimely deaths.[3]
