Susanna Bray[1] (died October 2015) was the district attorney of Star City. She was killed by H.I.V.E. as part of their endgame.
Biography[]
Sometime after Kate Spencer's death,[2] Susanna Bray succeeded her as the district attorney of Star City.
Bray was present at a meeting discussing the situation in Star City as a committee, due to the city having no active mayor. They discussed dealing with a new threat known as the Ghosts when Damien Darhk interrupted the meeting, claiming to be the leader of this group. He stated that his organization desired that the city be left to die so that it may be rebuilt. Susanna became irate, insisting the intruder leave immediately but was calmed by Captain Quentin Lance. Once satisfied that his message had been adequately rendered, Darhk departed.
Later at the D.A.'s office, Bray gave a press conference, expressing her refusal to let terrorists bring the city down. Afterwards, she discussed the situation with ADA Laurel Lance. Bray suddenly felt woozy, realizing that her coffee had been poisoned, and collapsed. Laurel instructed the onlookers to call for help. Shortly after, Bray was pronounced dead.[3]
Legacy[]
Bray's death was avenged when Damien Darhk was killed by Green Arrow and H.I.V.E. subsequently disbanded.[4]
