La Morte Sussurrata (Italian: The Whispered Death) is an Italian group of assassins originated from killers trained by Persian Hashshashins, operating out of Sicily.

La Morte Sussurrata originated as a group of killers trained by Persian Hashshashins who had traveled east to Italy.
In 2009, Helena Bertinelli traveled to Sicily, Italy, where she worked her way into La Morte Sussurrata by sleeping with the various members of the organization, aiming to learn their ways to avenge her fiancé's murder. A year later, Helena met the group's leader, Silvio. Upon gaining Silvio's trust, he trained Helena for several months in a number of different disciplines, including martial arts and weapons proficiency.[1]
