Erica Vendel is a woman who was frequently abused by her alcoholic boyfriend, Michael Ancona, until he was arrested by the Starling City Police Department.
Biography
Erica was in an AA meeting as Laurel when she disclosed suffering physical abuse by her boyfriend, Michael, who already had a total of eight assault charges laid against him. Laurel informed her father of Erica's plight and explained that the situation was worsening. In her early stage of becoming an vigilante Laurel ruffed up Erica's boyfriend then placed an anonymous tip to the police ensuring Erica's safety from him.[1]
