Description

The citizens of Star City need a hero, and Oliver Queen - aka The Arrow - won't let them down, in Seasons 1-4 of the bold, action-packed adventure series. As the mysterious billionaire Queen wrestles with family challenges and personal issues, he and the dedicated Team Arrow crusade for justice and rally to defeat the corruption and diabolical criminal forces intent upon wreaking havoc on their city, and, ultimately, all of humankind.

Season 1

Justice hits its mark! Based on the DC Comics series, Arrow reinvents the edgy and iconic character for today's audiences in the year's most thrill-packed and visually stunning action series. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) comes home with a mysterious agenda and lethal new skills to fight crime in Starling City. Wearing the dark hood of a "vigilante" archer, Oliver's fiercely determined to right the wrongs of his father and thwart those who've corrupted his city. But his crusade is complicated by his own family's dark secrets, a best friend's unwitting ties to evil, and the woman he loves but betrayed in his earlier life. From Oliver's harrowing island ordeals to Arrow's breathtaking urban stealth warfare, this 4-disc, 23 episode season one is a heroic adventure delivered dead centre![1]

Season 2

Starling City has been torn apart by the Undertaking, so the need for the hooded vigilante– now known as The Arrow – is more urgent than ever in the explosive second season of the hit action series based on DC Comics’ Green Arrow. After retreating to the island on which he was once stranded, Oliver Queen returns to protect his mother, sister and besieged company – , but comes to realize that allies and enemies have switched sides, and the stranglehold of evil on family, friends and city is diabolically linked to his fateful shipwreck. A once-tight comrade-at-arms and a strength-enhancing, yet mind-warping serum may prove to be the mightiest adversaries The Arrow has ever encountered. Can justice find its target in this breathlessly exciting, 23-episode Season Two? Or will all fall before the fury of Deathstroke?[1]

Season 3

The Arrow has become a hero to the citizens of Starling City - but that doesn’t mean that Oliver Queen can take his eye off the ball and lead a normal life in the spectacular third season of the hit series based on the DC Comics character. A new wave of diabolical masterminds - from home-grown terrors inflicted by the resurgent Vertigo, the deranged Cupid, boomerang-wielding Digger Harkness and bloodthirsty Danny "Brick" Brickwell to the insidious and pervasive havoc wrought by Ra's al Ghul and the League Of Assassins - threatens all he holds fear. Team Arrow has grown into a powerful force, but the dangers and secrets that hold them together often put them at odds with each other, as the shadows cast by Malcolm Merlyn and the invincible Ra's al Ghul shifts in loyalties and alliances that test them to their core. For matchless heroism under fire, this action-packed 4-disc, 23 episode season three can't be beaten![1]

Season 4

After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen (aka The Arrow) left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will military vet John Diggle, Oliver's sister Thea Queen, and lawyer-turned-vigilante Laurel Lance be left to continue Oliver's crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra's al Ghul, is anyone really safe? The action-packed series continues with new villains, new heroes and new challenges![1]
