Based on the Vibers page and the failed attempts to make a page for Speedsters, I would like to propose a info section for Speedsters, just to be fair. Any opinions?
Devoe has had so many opportunities to kill Barry, hell, he could've even had the chance to take his powers right there. It seems like he might need him for part of his endgame. - Shipman27
What if it's to get at the Speed Force somehow, don't you think?

Nope, DeVoe wants power. People who only want power don't often settle with what they're given.
The Speed Force is a realm of raw godly power and knowledge, I meant what if the Speed Force is a key part of his endgame?

That is not enough because he wants more.
Would the Speed Force itself suffice?

Why? You can read that could make things worse. The lives could be destroyed.
I meant when Barry is proven innocent, they'll eat their words.

Seriously, any thoughts?

Reverse Flash was also stopped by Barry along with Eddie because Barry stopped the wormwhole above Central City. Also with Savitar, Iris wouldn't stand a chance against Savitar if it weren't for Barry destroying his armor.
Vandal Savage may have been stopped once and for all by the Legends. However Barry is the one who stopped Vandal from destroying all of Central City.
Eobard couldn't be imprisoned because he is too fast for him. He also isn't going to kill as he is above it. Barry's prison cell is in Flashpoint which is now erased.
Well not really. the Eobard in the Crisis is a time remant outside of the timeline. So he isn't really affecting that.
How can you be so sure?

Not mention how killing or imprisoning Eobard would cause who knows what kind of temporal damage, something he has been forced to learn all of season three.

Seems as if Season 1's vision is finally coming into play. It's been a long time coming but the build-up was worth it. Like... DAMN. I'm shook.
Anyway, I love Amunet! She's chilling and funny. I'm gonna enjoy seeing more of her. And overall, the episode was pretty great. I felt as if the kidnapping of Barry should have been more elaborated on because I feel like he was kidnapped for no true reason. However, it does give that window of opportunity for Dominic and DeVoe's move on him.
All in all, bring on the trial.
(Also, I laughed so hard at that "get that to your house" line. Classic Joe.)
Well i think Devoe already explained why he kidnapped Barry. He wanted to teach him. To warn him. He told him that there is no happy endings. Giving him the hint of his future by putting him in Devoe's cage which was forshadowing his imprisonment by the authorities.
But also how Barry will win, by not running.
Thawne is his most consistent arch-nemesis, maybe its one of those full circle expressions too, Barry couldn't be a truly successful hero unless he could learn to rise above his inner demons by finding peace within himself, the arc of season 3, kinda like Oliver.

No, it makes Thawne s return even more unnecessary.
Maybe it was a test to see if Barry had truly conquered his inner demons enough to be Thawne's equal.
See, I believe she can be a good character again too. More from me later.
Like?
